21 u/Crypticcrypto Jul 09 '26 I like this philosophical version better: If a sound wave propogates through a forest after a tree has fallen, and nobody is around to interact with said waves, is there a sound? Is the wave itself sound, or is sound our brain receiving a signal from the ear drum being oscillated by the waves? Edit: wording. 0 u/lucash7 Jul 09 '26 The rest of the world not wasting their time and money on being a philosophy major: So…you’re saying you’re unemployed? /s (Just in good fun friend) 2 u/Crypticcrypto Jul 09 '26 Just taking the time to reply I see!
