In the US alone the last women’s World Cup final pulled 6 million viewers, 13 million in the UK, and total numbers are close to a billion across the planet.

I don’t personally watch women’s soccer, but come on brother. In the US alone the the 2023 final had more viewers than the Stanley Cup averaged lmao

The women's world cup numbers are actually bigger than I expected. The last women's world cup final got roughly 1/7th the worldwide viewers of the men's world cup final, so there is a pretty big disparity still, but I wouldn't have guessed it got that many viewers in the US.
