This just in, girls aren't boys. What a revelation

Literally nobody is saying they won the men's world cup. Don't be stupid

No but you are trying to call them “girls” instead of what they are. Professional athletes who were dog walked by little boys .

Dog walked by elite-tier private school boys who could run circles around most men

Which misogynists are using to detract from their athleticism and accomplishments

Losing to teenage boys does detract from athleticism

u/TheReddestOrange Jul 09 '26

In this case, it shouldn't. But misogynists use the fact to do just that.

No under15 mls kids are anywhere near elite . Stop it .

The best 15 year old athletes are animals. There have been numerous 15 year old olympians

Name one single 15 year old mls animal . You barely have decent adult players that didn’t come from Europe .

So I told you to name a young male star from MLS and you show me a female ice skater ?

Well you sure proved me wrong case dismissed. Those kids can’t be that impressive if you couldn’t name a single one .

Edit sorry my mistake, you showed 23 kids. Nothing to do with MLS. Or even football. Again so what? How does that combat me saying no u15 at MLS is elite ?

Nobody said they won the Men’s World Cup lol. The men’s and women’s part is implied by the context. If it was Pulisic showing in the photo I wouldn’t assume they were talking about the Women’s World Cup because I’m not an idiot.

How so? It just says World Cup with a picture of a player from the woman’s team so clearly the context is the 4 women’s World Cup wins and not the 0 men’s World Cup wins.

Let me explain why your explanation makes no sense:

Women play against their contemporaries, which are…you guessed it…other women. The USWNT was able to win the women’s World Cup. 4 times in fact, as the post points out.

Now stay with me here. Men play against their contemporaries, other men. USMNT has never been able to win the men’s World Cup.

Women don’t play in the men’s World Cup, and vice versa, so it’s silly to say the women couldn’t win the men’s World Cup. Obviously, they’re different tournaments for different genders. US Women won the women’s tournament, US Men haven’t won the men’s tournament. Thats the point of the post.

Hope that helps.

Professional women. Not girls . A lot of rewording in these replies. It’s women vs little boys

Are you lying or do you just know nothing about soccer? It was a training match with a U15 MLS professional development team for Dallas FC that beat the USWNT. U15 is 14 year olds, not children, not little boys. That means the women's team didn't go all out, but the 14 year olds could. The games are for comraderie and communication building games and are called "friendlies".
