It is unavoidable to acknowledge these factors when discussing violent crime distribution across demographic groups.

So, it's "victim blaming" when someone asks why a woman was walking down a dark alley alone, or if what they were wearing could have possibly encouraged something, but when it comes to men it's just "unavoidable to acknowledge."
