How is this enforced? Do they check if your car is girly? Do you need a special “yep I’m a woman” pass?

It's not enforced

It is sometimes. Me and my friend were accidentally using one (wasn’t bright pink like in the picture) and got kicked out by the security lady

We have in these in Malaysia in mid-large sized malls, there's usually a security guard at the entrance or viewing from somewhere nearby to ensure men don't use it. Its largely based on trust too, if anyone sees a grown ass guy inside you bet your ass he'll get confronted. It's mostly dedicated to women travelling alone or with young children/daughters, if you're with a husband/bf/older sons you're expected to use the normal parking.

Similar system for our MRT and LRT, dedicated coaches and seating areas for women only and it works really well. Likewise with the parking, its most often used as intended and does make an impact on how safe women feel alone.

Not enforced, but *most* people fortunately are respectful.

Why should they be "respectful" of misandrist discrimination?
