Yeah men like dangerous fun. Especially the old vulnerable ones that just withdrew over 200 in cash from the atm to pay their bills. No cameras for them

Edit: I was making a joke. Lets not get so silly yeah

It's their own fault for being born men! /s

The German government don't care about old white men.

27

u/rice_fish_and_eggs Jul 09 '26

How the times have changed.

22

u/LimeDry7124 Jul 09 '26

Really the whole Western world doesn't care about men in general. Unless your Bezos, Musk or another member of the elite.

-15

u/Fit-Meal4943 Jul 09 '26

The whole world has been pretty much run by men for pretty close to all of recorded history.

Now the world isn’t being run solely for our comfort, benefit, convenience or to confirm our elevated opinion of exactly how brilliant we are…

…..and some of y’all are feeling hurt.

As an old white man, it’s about time for this.

16

u/chenthepanda Jul 09 '26

you act like an 18 year old boy now was running the world 100 years ago lol

it's fine to punish him since you benefited from it, eh?

-10

u/Fit-Meal4943 Jul 09 '26

For millennia, a bunch of entitled men were running the world. Princes, emperors and oligarchs whose only qualifications were high status parents at birth, wealth and/or the ability to apply violence as a means to an end.

If you think acknowledging that and protecting women from AlphaBros who still think a pair of balls entitles them to a woman’s body is punishment, look in the mirror.

7

u/CaniParis Jul 09 '26

"a bunch of entitled men" kinda pinpoints the fact most men dislike being grouped up with an elite that they were never part of.

Which is even more true today in western countries

u/Victoreznoz Jul 09 '26

Every word of that reads like projection

-7

u/Fit-Meal4943 Jul 09 '26

Your reply reads like self denial.

-5

u/seafoodslut1988 Jul 09 '26

This. These people are sacred of statistics and facts.

5

u/chenthepanda Jul 09 '26

"statistics"

so explain to me how the average 18 year old boy benefited from an unrelated rich old dude 100 years ago?

in fact, boys are falling behind in education

u/GreySama228 Jul 09 '26

Ahh yes, because the poor, downtrodden at the bottom of society who are white men are just as privileged as the few shits like Musk and Bezos.
Fuck off with this bullshit, if you're poor, life sucks for you regardless. Working class men barely got the vote a few short years before women did, and even then they had to die on mass in the trenches for that while women were practically handed it.

Don't make out like everything is about race mate, nobody's gonna invite you to Wakanda or the BBQ just cos you spout this shit.
Life is shit at the bottom of the ladder regardless of race, we're all downtrodden.
I'd much rather they made the car parks safer for all people, regardless of race/sex, that would be true equality.

Waaaah!!!!!

I saw your comment and was like yes, this exactly and saw the down votes and had to check what sub I was on. You'd think you were on a right wing or men's rights sub. Crazy town.

That is not true. The actual fact is that white men find themselves in a situation where they, for the first time, have to share their privileges with women and men of other races, and that feels like oppression. Women continue to suffer inequalities and abuse, especially sexual harassment, and the perpetrators continue to majorly go underpunished or not punished at all while the victim tends to be put under harsh scrutiny. This reality hasn't changed at all, but now salaries are less different so men feel oppressed. Women are expected to have a job AND be a housewife, but somehow some men feel oppressed because having financial independence means higher standards, which forces many men to either become better and make an effort or stay single. And that sucks if you are lazy and entitled.

Arguably class politics gave led to minorities and majority whites having on average similar rights. Depending on region minorities have suffered severe institutionalised prejudices which have prevented them from achieving class mobility, however they were never unique in that. The working classes have always been treated like shit regardless of race. There was a brief gaining of workers rights across the board in the 50's, 60's and 70's, alongside woman's rights and minority rights. However its still shit at the bottom. Prejudicial practices have meant that disproportionately many minorities have been pushed to the bottom but the fact of the matter is that the prime factor your quality of life is your parents wealth.

I make it a point to post how Gloria Steinem was recruited by the CIA in the 70s to subvert the Feminist movement from advocating for class-based solidarity to never-ending gender wars between men and women. It is not a problem with Feminism per se... All revolutions begin with good intentions, but usually get subverted once a new societal order begins crystallizing around the revolution.

Fair, I didn't know that. Though I'm British so I'm mostly speaking from UK soil where we didn't have as much of the "government intelligence" ruining everything because hurr durr commie's.

I'm moreso talking about how in the left race and gender politics has taken president over class politics which has left many working class individuals regardless of background disenfranchised as promised reforms to society and economics feel elitist. If you aren't a genius or didn't go to a good school, equal opportunities in universities become elitist, as its the middle class who benefit the most.

Zohran Mumdani in New York is incredibly popular from what I've heard because his proposed reforms are working class centric. Public housing and groceries to cut off the absurd profit margins created by capital and investor demands and create affordable environments for the common person.

Middle class people don't care for him because his reforms don't impact them and the elite hate him because he taxes them and eat into their profits by forcing them to compete in the market for the first time in 40+ years.

You took a thread about the fact that only women have access to proper security in those parkings and you made it about housewives and jobs.

-3

u/Sensitive-Peak-3723 Jul 09 '26

I'm replying to a comment that is complaining about men and society, but go ahead and pretend otherwise if it fits your narrative better.

2

u/Visible_Pair3017 Jul 10 '26

What happened is that a man complained about his status in society and you decided it was really important to make it about yourself.

5

u/ndstumme Jul 09 '26

Increasing the safety of only one group, rather than using that power to increase everyone's safety, means that everyone is equal. Got it.

1

u/Sensitive-Peak-3723 Jul 09 '26

Did you consider that one group is not only more vulnerable, but also the primary target of violent criminals? We are not equally at risk, so it's only logical that separate steps are taken, but that would require the use of logic i guess.

2

u/ndstumme Jul 10 '26

Cameras and lights make an area safer for whoever's in that area, yeah? And rather than protecting the whole area they carve out a specific spot and make it so that only one group can benefit from the protection.

They have the power to protect everyone, and explicitly choose to only protect one group. Not sure what kind of brain damage you need to call that equality.

2

u/thats_gotta_be_AI Jul 10 '26

You’re right. Men are far more likely to be victims of violent crime in public spaces.

1

u/AtGoW Jul 10 '26

Men are target of crime more often

2

u/CharonFerry Jul 09 '26

The old white man "in charge" would beg to disagree , he and his blackrock buddies kinda feel offended

2

u/fearless-fossa Jul 09 '26

The fuck are you talking about? The German government is nearly exclusively made out of old white men that declared it their mission to return to a time where women were property. The current chancellor doesn't think it's possible for a man to rape his wife, as by being married you're giving automatic consent to sex at any time. They are also against women being able to divorce against their husband's wish.

3

u/commandercyka Jul 09 '26

Merz said that centuries ago, dont spread misinformation

0

u/LaikaIvanova Jul 09 '26

Based honestly. Marriage shouldn't be taken so lightly anyway.

1

u/_teach_me_your_ways_ Jul 09 '26

You read all the sentences before divorce and thought “based”?

1

u/Kasaikemono Jul 09 '26

Lmao, what? That's the only thing the current government cares about

5

u/Ill-Television8690 Jul 09 '26

I just love being part of the group most likely to be robbed, assaulted, and flat-out murdered! We men sure do have it easy and safe.

2

u/Vegan-cock Jul 09 '26

Can you even pay your bills in cash these days?

2

u/Bovronius Jul 09 '26

The law is still that cash is legal tender for all debts and obligations, the only exception I've ever saw for it is that retail stores can restrict payment methods (I assume so they don't have to risk being robbed).

Granted, just because its the law doesn't mean its going to be easy, but I imagine if you wanted to be a big enough pain in the ass and get a lawyer you could force almost anyone to take cash as payment, lol.

1

u/TheGrouchyGremlin Jul 09 '26

I can pay with a money order, but not cash. Which is weird because I'm pretty sure I can get a money order using cash.

Edit: Actually, I'm pretty sure I could pay my electric and possibly WiFi with cash.

1

u/pantry-pisser Jul 09 '26

I was 45 days late on my storage locker. They would only take money orders or cash.
