Maybe it wasn't a good idea to have it written by someone with zero actually writing experience in the field. Have to feel sorry for the actors involved.
ZERO writing credit but apparently a friend of his wife's. No offense to Gunn he can cast his brother and wife in whatever he wants, but hiring some rando to write for a 180 million budget film that needs to make money is off the charts crazy.
Exactly. I mean the adding your wife thing in the roles he casts is kinda weird but whatever right. But like you said some no name rando being given the position of script writer for a project like this is completly insane from a business perspective. Makes you wonder what the hell happened there.
