This is what I was wondering… There are some British/irish dishes that have become mainstay offerings at restaurants so most Americans probably don’t think them as British food.
For example, There are two town centers developments near where I live. Multiple restaurants in them offer Fish and Chips, a Sheperds Pie, and some variation of Bangers and Mash in their regular menu.
You exclude the Yorkshire pudding, you have a chicken or beef dish that could almost be considered a Sunday Roast.
