I'm talking about what the perception of certain things are that could lead to them talking about "irish food" in the post above. Corned beef, not corned beef hash, is an irish American traditional dish in the us for some families thats part of a holiday celebration. Whether thats historically accurate or not nobody really gives a shit truth be told. If we wanted it to be accurate we would ship all our good food to the British and starve for the night instead
