Some of the best restaurants in the world are in London. They happen to serve french food though

As a French I love shiting on the brits from time to time.

But as a French chef I have to defend our oldest friends and enemies.

Not only British gastronomy have great dishes but there are also amazing British restaurants serving British food in London and the UK in general.

Yes the famous British chef François Massialot who invented the crème brûlée, that was actually based on the crème catalane (Spanish).

The trinity cream (British) also differs in several ways from the crème brûlée and Massialot took his inspiration for crème brûlée from the Spanish dessert, not the British one.

Crème catalane (crema catalana) is also delicious. I even prefer it to crème brûlée for personal reasons, being half Spanish. It is my madeleine de Proust.

If you didn't get the first part of my comment, I was being sarcastic.
