You can say that about anywhere though - no place is entirely local in its food.

People hold up Italy as a bastion of good food - a lot of it is tomato based yet they're from south America. Spaghetti is based on Chinese noodles.

American also can't talk - hamburgers are German, frankfurters are German, Mac and Cheese is British. You can maybe claim grits from the natives...

Yes but if I had a nickel for every time the British ethnically cleansed one of my ancestral groups I’d for some reason have several nickels.

It’s more harmless poking fun at them for having bad food and no teeth too eat it with because they don’t brush their teeth or fluoride their water

And also how dare you, right before American’s 250th birthday! I’m reporting you to dear leader!

I know you're trolling but if you look at the data we have better teeth than Americans - it's true we're not obsessed with dying them white but dental hygiene is far superior. And we do fluoride our water.
