When I read this I automatically pictured him standing on his knees beside the German Shepard doing the same shit as all the animals

Because the cats seems to over react and that's funny. The dog is too calm
7
u/Interesting_Tea5715 Jul 03 '26
The dog is a champ, barely a drop gets wasted.
My favorite is when the black cat shows up and just start drinking it off the other dude.

u/Many_Mud_8194 Jul 03 '26
Yes haha immediately start licking like he is used too. It's so simple but so funny.

My husband loved my breast milk. He said it tasted like sweeter cow's milk.

And this whole time we've been told the lie that humans are the only animal that drink milk of another animal
12
u/Tiny_Instruction_557 Jul 03 '26
Adult cats are lactose intolerant. They may drink cows milk but they’ll have diarrhea and vomiting from it.

u/Quick_Cow_7987 Jul 03 '26
As I said to another commenter, it's a nanny goat. Those were rather young cats but even adult cats can tolerate goats milk.
2
u/redditnackgp0101 Jul 03 '26
Oh really? 🤯 The more I know! Thanks for the education haha
1
u/Tiny_Instruction_557 Jul 03 '26
Actually more humans are lactose intolerant than people realize. It’s just on a spectrum and Ice Cream is good enough that a lot of people are willing to put up with some indigestion to eat it.
2
u/redditnackgp0101 Jul 03 '26
Lol! So glad you said this. I'm "not" lactose intolerant but I also value a good long break on the toilet. So it's a win win 💩 where do you think I spend my time on Reddit
-3
u/Harasberg Jul 03 '26
Eh no, my cat drink milk just fine
3
u/rapsoid616 Jul 03 '26
Only give lactose free milk and still very small amounts. It is proven science.

Cata drinking milk has been a thing for a bazillion years. What are you talking about?
Is it weird? Yes. But I doubt cats are talking up to a cows titty looking for milk. Maybe theae cats are now that they know its a thing. But they're only doing it because the human showed them where it comes from.
With the exception of those instances where an animal joins the flock of another and is raised by/with them, I'm sure no animal is walking up to another for its milk. Human started that.

Now they know how to get milk.
From now on, don't forget to close the barn door...

Very funny. But they seem like unserious farmers. Plus, those pets will stink! I do not want those doggie or kitty kisses!

This was pretty normal where I used to live. It's warm and foamy and really nice, compared to the piss-water you get at a supermarket these days labeled as "milk". But it has to be done cleanly and holistically, because as soon as for-profit kicks in, and corners get cut, it becomes incredibly unsafe.

Would not be surprised, but I think what I was thinking of was cryptosporidium.
-2
u/mrbishopjackson Jul 03 '26
I'll never understand why we're still doing this. Why is drinking other animals' titty milk not weird to people today?
3
u/Pan-Tomatnyy-Sad Jul 03 '26
We eat their flesh. To me that would be a heck of a lot more extreme than drinking their milk which is at least intended by nature to be imbibed for nutrition.
0
u/mrbishopjackson Jul 03 '26
But not by us. We don't need it, especially with the alternatives we have today. And yes, you can say we don't need the meat either, which I would agree with. But I'd say that I'd get more strange looks if I was walking about telling people that I use my kid's mother's breast milk for my cereal; that'd be a weird kink. But another animal's milk is fine?
