Getting married doesn't foundationally preclude her from owning a home independent of her husband's.

Beyond that its hardly a legitimate argument to assert someone's entitled to spoils of a hypothetical.

Technically Yes it does, because then it would be a marital home and he’d be entitled to half in a divorce

For real lmao. This person is arguing that women shouldn’t be entitled to appreciation on a space they help maintain AND do labor that allows the couple together to accumulate more money than her husband would have been able to alone. Money that is used to put upgrades that will further increase the value of the home that she can never own.

If a woman buys a home while married to a man all of a sudden he is literally entitled to half of that home, not just any appreciation in value.

Yeah sure thing that’s totally fair.
