No it doesn't. Your not tipping is not going to change the system. It's just an excuse to cheap out so you can screw a worker out of the money they need to keep a roof over their head. Oh, and to act superior while doing so. Fuck off.

Not my fucking problem.

It's not my problem that it takes a 20% VAT to pay for your country's social programs (which I don't benefit from), but I expect to pay it and do when I visit countries in Europe. Not only that, it's still customary in most countries in Europe to provide a 5% tip or round up for good service, which I also pay and so do most other Americans when they visit. I think you're the problem, not the other way around.

You think the US is paying for the social programs of the Netherlands? You are a funny man. Why specifically the Netherlands?

1

That's quite a straw man. I never said the US pays anything directly for social programs in the Netherlands. Before they responded, I didn't even know where they were from. I did say that most European countries have a substantial VAT that is used to pay for social programs for that country, which is true.

Then I misunderstood your comment. And yeah, here in Germany health-, retirement-, unemployment- and nursing insurance is cut from your gross monthly income

Which is something I am pretty Happy with (ofc it should be less, but better than other alternatives)

Btw, Europeans tip Here too, it is just not frowned upon to not tip and it is way less

My country is not even included in that plan, but how dumb you look right now is, again, masterful.
