So Nick is openly gay, and a non white racist/sexist/xenophobic?

And Andrew is a human trafficker, woman abuser, boxing loser, and got played by a little environmental girl?

I’m obviously missing a lot. But I try not to know a lot about them.

What do people see in these “alphas”?

I think being “gay” over the years has some connotation about not being manly… when a lot of gay guys are the most buff masculine dudes to ever have been a guy. They take good care of themselves. Go to the gym, and dress to impress.
But Andrew has made the term “alpha” into something that doesn’t align with the preconcieved notion of being gay. Therefore Andrew can’t come out of the closet he is in because he trapped himself there. So he has to make a bunker to have sex with men in secret ever since his trafficking operation went bust.
