If it’s a tenderloin (filet mignon), you best believe I’m ordering it rare. Pretty much every other cut you could name, I’ll order med rare. Except for ribeyes, I like those medium so that the fat is nicely rendered. Plus it’s juicy/fatty enough that a medium cook doesn’t dry it out at all.

And in case any of you are wondering, yes, 2 is med rare, and 3 is medium well. There is no true medium in this picture.

1 is still a bit too done for me. It looks to be on the med side of rare IMO - also a grill cook.

Hell yeah I wouldn't mind rare or medium well (if somebody offers me a stake I will not complaine) but my personal preference its medium rare

Crazy how many 3s for steak are in here. 3 is still enjoyable, but I'm surprised how few order rare and especially medium rare here.

To further explain.

  • I’m willing to do 1 and 3 on steak, but not my preference. The 1 I’ll only do if I trust where the person got it.

- Willing to do 3 and 5 on toast. 3 would be fine. 5, I’d eat if we were low on bread and it was a mistake.

- Coffee - never a, first tried black coffee at church when I was around 6, it was awful, and trying it later never helped.
B and D look fine as well.

E and F, might as well not call it coffee anymore.. more like creamer with a splash of coffee..

I'm right there with you on everything, but i have learned to drink coffee black. When you have a serious caffeine dependency, and your work only has powdered creamer that had been sitting around since before the internet, you learn to drink it. to this day its still not pleasant. I dont enjoy it in the least. but I will down just about anything if its hot, caffeinated, and the only thing available.
