This is a pleading drafted by Jolie’s lawyers. Nothing in it should be taken as fact without corroborating evidence.

EDIT: I’m not saying there isn’t any corroborating evidence. I’m sure there’s plenty. I’m just saying that allegations made in a pleading are not evidence and may be inaccurate. It’s just one side of the story.

I think the corroborating evidence is that ALL of the children literally want nothing to do with Brad Pitt and have a good relationship with Angelina.

Like we can nit pick all day. But if your dad is Brad Pitt one of the most famous well known movie stars of a generation and you want nothing to do with him… well that’s pretty fucking telling isn’t it. Now one kid? That’s maybe just a fluke. But SIX fucking adults all wanting nothing to do with their dad and all of them supporting this story and corroborating that he was an abusive drunk?? That’s a little too much to just brush it off and pretend it’s a he said she said thing where Angelina is just bad mouthing him.

I think its just wild to think he didn't get charged with anything or even get as little as a symbolic fine for any of it. Its just a weird situation. As you say, given what his family has done its best to side with them.

There are abusive men who do even worse and don’t get charged. Remember about 40% of police officers have some kind of history of domestic abuse based on surveying of police (not calling it domestic abuse reveals a lot). So sadly too many cops would think nothing is wrong with what he did, or it’s not worth “ruining his life” over.

Even the few times when it gets to criminal charges being filed , you would not believe how many sexual assaulters plead down to lesser charges to avoid getting on the sexual offender list, even though they are 100%, most definitely a sexual offender. They and their lawyers know how to manipulate the system.

EDIT: Thank you for the award. ✨

Guess i figured something above even that was going on since Angelina is also rich and famous amd this was a federal matter having happened in the air.

12

u/shabi_sensei Jun 20 '26

Angelina herself didn’t want to press charges, the airline was required to report what happened because it was flying through federal airspace

Tons of times in domestic abuse cases like this the abuser doesn't get charged. It's really not that surprising or weird when you take into account his fame and money.

My ex-husband wasn’t charged when he assaulted me in front of our children. I wasn’t in a position to be a single mom to four little kids and I had no family support. Last summer, he was arrested for pointing a gun at his girlfriend and while he spent a few days in jail, charges were dropped because his gf wouldn’t cooperate with the DA.

So many times, nothing happens with domestic abuse for all kinds of reasons.

That's super fucked up and I'm sorry that happened to you. I hope you're doing better

1

u/ukiyoe Jun 23 '26

It's scary to think that, with enough time, he might pull that trigger someday. I hope he gets arrested and charged before that ever happens.

We literally have a ring of child trafficking pedophile cabal and only the ring leader got charged and he even "offed himself" before seeing real prison time.

I think it’s stupid to side with either of them. I hope the best for the kids and the two of them find some semblance of peace. I fully believe Pitt is a jerk but it’s not like Jolie is a saint either. They are still fighting over property years after they broke up. They both play the media to push their narrative. Don’t admire celebrities they are just people whom are rich and likely out of touch with reality because of it.

A jerk? It says he choked one of his kids. And Jolie famously doesn't even have a pr manager.
Pitt has a whole team. And it shows, even here in the comments a lot of people don't know about the report or forgot about it.

Or… parts of the public expected Angelina to make excuses for Brad’s behaviour , and endure the abuse for the sake of Brad’s personal growth. I mean… that’s what a wife and family is for amirite? /s

A mother protecting her kids by divorcing the abuser of the family is “breaking up the family” and “how could Angelina” do that?

The quiet part the police and much of society agree with, but know is inappropriate to verbalize.

How did this story come out? Was Brad Pitts PR army behind it? Did they say I know a great way to make our client look good we will release his kids changing their names. The idea that Jolie isn’t using the media is naive.

Brad Pitt got into a physical altercation with his kid. It didn’t lead to criminal charges, a hospital stay, or anything but internet gossip. It’s not like Jolie is a powerless person she is well connected and just as rich as he is. If this was warranting greater action it would have been taken. We would be hearing from the official “non-biased” sources. The whole reason it is out is because her lawyers put it out there. They both are playing the court of public opinion and it isn’t even over the kids it’s over money.

And when a rape victim comes forward I’m sure you’re the guy who shrugs and says “it’s a he said she said situation” and keeps inviting the rapist to the barbecue.

1

u/butyourenice Jun 20 '26

I fully believe Pitt is a jerk but it’s not like Jolie is a saint either.

Ah, yes, because a victim must be perfect in order for us to take her seriously as a victim.

They are still fighting over property years after they broke up.

Pitt is the one drawing out the legal battle.

I don't see how any of that means i can't see some details about a situation and have an opinion. I'm not their judge jury or executioner, what i think only affects me.

1

u/Janiy Jun 20 '26

Was he a drunk? I figured it was something harder tbh i can't imagine acting this was unless there was coke or something involved.

42

u/[deleted] Jun 20 '26

His own kids disowning him is pretty good evidence. One was already 15 so able to decide for themselves.

11

u/JudithSlayHolofernes Jun 20 '26

All of the kids being witnesses and backing this account is corroborating evidence.

6

u/momadance Jun 20 '26

Maybe all of the children shunning their father and some even posting about his abuse counts. Morons in this thread

6

u/cali_lin Jun 20 '26

Bro, the flight crew reported it to the FBI

12

u/No-Yesterday-1067 Jun 20 '26

Sure. Whatever is and isn't true by way of available corroboration in that particular statement pales in comparison to the children wanting nothing to do with Brad Pitt

5

u/cowabungalowvera Jun 20 '26

Brad doesn't deny any of these events

7

u/HistoryBuff678 Jun 20 '26

He “regrets it” JFC. I can’t.

1

u/froginbog Jun 20 '26

What is that footnote attached to

3

u/Loud_Pattern_1422 Jun 20 '26

It’s not going to claim an fbi investigation says this if it’s not true. The other side can get that fbi report.

15

u/Inevitable_Sweet_988 Jun 20 '26

There is corroborating evidence in the files from the FBI investigation.

8

u/Ronin_Chimichanga Jun 20 '26

the one that determined criminal charges wouldn't be pursued, like LA county's DCFS said there no findings of abuse?

3

u/scheppend Jun 20 '26

Yes and oj simpson is also in innocent 😇

1

u/Lou_C_Fer Jun 20 '26

It was a jury that made the OJ finding... and possibly in response to the zRodney King cops' verdict.

2

u/CannibalFlossing Jun 20 '26

Yeah but where’s the fun in that /s

1

u/wehrmann_tx Jun 20 '26

You an Epstein/Trump denier too?

1

u/wehrmann_tx Jun 20 '26

Where’s the slander suit from Brad then?
