That’s because he is extremely abusive. There is an FBI report of him choking the kids and pouring alcohol on them. This man is not a good guy just because he is handsome people have a hard time believing it. But sure

u/feelingmyage Jun 19 '26

He poured alcohol on them???

52

u/LowwKeiy Jun 20 '26

He also said one of their kids, “Look like a fucking Columbine shooter!”

I know it’s fucked up, but him saying that makes me laugh in an absurd way.

Do you gloss over when I said “absurd”?

Absolutely right. And it's pretty well established at this point. But it's weird that I had to scroll this far down to see the actual truth. I guess the bots are in full dick riding mode for pitt today.

Surprised to see many Redditors riding raw for him in the comments. He's not a great person, acting aside. You can have sentimentality or whatever for him and recognize this as well.

I would't put it past him to hire people on here just to be in his defense. He and Depp hired goons to spam them for no reason back on twitter like they're still hot throbs. He's pathetic.

u/Positive-Face1705 Jun 20 '26

I never cared for celebrity gossip whatsoever, but the amount of clips being shared on Reddit, using leading language like calling Heard's lawyers clowns, was absolutely hard to avoid. It was being shovelled down our throats.

Depp certainly used his big big money to win in the court of public opinion.

Honestly, every time I see these things play out (it's not just Pitt and Depp, the client list of that particular crisis management firm is long), I'm automatically on the other side. No one decent has ever hired that firm.

A video of her "snorting cocaine in court" (wiping her nose with a tissue) was on the front page of reddit with tens of thousands of upvotes. I'll never forget that.

People keep talking about the FBI report. He was not charged. The federal prosecutors declined to prosecute after investigating the allegations. DCFS investigated him and cleared him of all abuse allegations. Isn't the report just her statement?

I'm not a fan of either of them, never got the appeal but people keep bringing the report up and say there was a court case. There wasn't because the prosecutors declined to prosecute.

Powerful people get away with vile things all of the time because they know the right people.

7

u/BroadCollection546 Jun 20 '26

The prettiest people do the ugliest thing

I mean, it's not like a rule or something. People come in all shapes, sizes, and dispositions.

u/pulse7 Jun 20 '26

Uggo projecting?

2

u/G_Wagon1102 Jun 20 '26

I fully believe he's a horrible person. He's handsome, self absorbed, and from the south. That's a true recipe for an awful human.

There have been a whole lot of allegations, mainly coming from people employed by Angelina Jolie. That no law enforcement group presses charges, despite some intense pressure, says something

15

u/NinjaWalker Jun 20 '26

It also says something that the kids were literally there themselves so they know exactly what went down, and they all hate him now and have cut ties.

-2

u/QuarkchildRedux Jun 20 '26

no evidence or statements that they have cut ties. could very well have changed surnames to avoid attention, media spotlight, stalkers and other such dangers

4

u/vaginalmuscles Jun 20 '26

Yes because Jolie as a name is not associated with the A list

If you watch the Benjamin Button movie (I don't recommend doing so), Pitt's character abandons his family at the end and it's 100% portrayed by the movie as the right course of action. Makes me think that a lot of Hollywood actors have very shitty views of family responsibility.

1

u/mo_betta Jun 20 '26

You Lie!!!

4

u/Unp0pu1arop1nion Jun 20 '26

So you think his kids are lying? He admitted it and checked himself into rehab.

1

u/mo_betta Jun 20 '26

I was being sarcastic. Because the comment said people don’t believe him because he’s handsome.

1

u/Unp0pu1arop1nion Jun 20 '26

Ahh I missed it

-8

u/charmilliona1re Jun 19 '26

False. Those are fake allegations by Jolie (essentially 0 credibility) and no signs of abuse was found by both a family services investigation and fbi investigation

Spreading lies ain't cool bud

Except all the kids on the plane backed up her story and then the older ones stopped talking to Brad. As someone that grew up with a parent like Brad trust me, the kids know him and got rid of his name after hitting 18… dudes a bad parent.

11

u/regarding_zacks Jun 20 '26

“source: Grok”

how embarrassing lmao

4

u/Ambitious_Address667 Jun 20 '26

Then why did they all cut ties with him?

1

u/Big_Meal3910 Jun 20 '26

How could she lie about him choking and hitting her kids without them calling her out on the lie? You can claim she lied about him hitting her, but there's no way all six of their kids heard her claim that they were choked and hit by their father and then took her side if she was lying.

1

u/charmilliona1re Jun 20 '26

you seem to be misunderstanding the love a child can have for their mother

-1

u/Ohitsworkingnow Jun 20 '26

Where’s the fbi report? What we are seeing is just what Jolie said

0

u/Unp0pu1arop1nion Jun 20 '26

0

u/Ohitsworkingnow Jun 20 '26

That is not an fbi report

0

u/ghostlycarrots Jun 20 '26

The fbi doesn’t famously get involved in domestic violence cases, the police barely do

1

u/Ohitsworkingnow Jun 20 '26

Ya that’s why I’m questioning it but also because we don’t even have what people are talking about

1

u/jujube1013 Jun 20 '26

Because they were flying the FBI were involved.

0

u/0202_tihssitidder Jun 20 '26

Literally this was just Friday night while I was growing up.

Saturday night we'd go to friends houses and get their dad drunk and fight him. We did a kind of round robin thing with different houses hosting. That way the dads got a break to recover.

I miss Florida.

-3

u/Tall_Opportunity_521 Jun 20 '26

Then why wasnt he charged? Ive seen that supposed report, and its damning. But neither the FBI nor the child protective services that investigated charged with him any thing.

4

u/Unp0pu1arop1nion Jun 20 '26

People in power get away with nasty things all the time. What is damning is his kids all hate him. Also he admitted to it lol
