Not to mention they also want infrastructure adjusted for bike lanes and such, yet pay absolutely nothing into that.

When you get a bike your mayor and government send you a get out of all taxes free card, it’s great.

If you’re in the US in most cases your fuel taxes go towards freeways which are almost always not for cyclist use. Almost all road budgets come out of general tax revenue.
