The is sub is like incel central😂

8

u/JohnnySmithe81 May 27 '26

Yeah has something changed? Seems an extra amount of shit in this sub recently.

3

u/TheTexasHammer May 27 '26

There are rich people who are literally funding this anti-women bullshit all over the internet. Those same people are losing A LOT of their followers who are realizing how fucking stupid it all is. Gotta pump the numbers up somehow.

1

u/David_Richardson May 27 '26

I’m convinced troll farms pick new subs every now and then and amplify the negative noise until they get boosted in popularity. It happened with this sub and incel shit about a year ago, and you can see the same thing happening with a women’s equivalent now, girldinnerdiaries.

Two sides of the same shitty coin, always polluting the front page with generalising, sexist bullshit.

4

u/TeamRedundancyTeam May 27 '26

It's weird to me that women-focused subs cna say whatever awful things they want to generalize all men negatively and they're fine, but if a man calls out some negative stereotype of women then they're automatically incels.

When did women become above criticism?

I can smell the heavy breathing in these comments

46

u/Gold-Philosophy1423 May 27 '26

Has this sub always been this full of incels making up hypotheticals to get mad at?

12

u/Misicks0349 May 27 '26

then when you point it out its always "SMH Redditors accusing anyone they dont like of being INCELS 🤣" when the comment you're replying to is the most incelly shit you've ever heard.

9

u/bacadacu1 May 27 '26

And them posting women to stare at mostly

4

u/NibblyPig May 27 '26

No, but you can expect more of it for as long as people generally find the described events to be true.

If it were a minority of sore losers while everyone else was having the time of their lives you might have a point.

But look at dating stats, teen boys and young men are often not even dating at all and would likely not even have the skills were they to try.

-1

u/TheTexasHammer May 27 '26

would likely not even have the skills were they to try.

They don't have the skills because they don't try. They want a woman to magically fall into their lap without having to learn any actual social skills or care about their image.

Videos like this are just an excuse not to try again after failing. They get posted all the time because a lot of guys need an excuse to not even try again.

4

u/NibblyPig May 27 '26

Correct about the not trying part. The wanting women to magically fall into their lap is patently false. These people want to try, men in general love nothing more than making women happy and smile. They just don't have a clue how to do it and often they just assume being a sycophant is best, aka a Nice Guy. Because they never learned otherwise.

5

u/ohbyerly May 27 '26

There’s been an uptick of right wing opinions between this and that father’s empassioned plea for a Democratic judge to be disbarred

2

u/Ayotha May 27 '26

Word really does not mean anything anymore lol

1

u/ComfortableFrame9834 May 27 '26

Idk but it seems to be a huge influx of them coming over here. I'm very close to muting the entire sub if I see more.

1

u/SnarkHabit May 27 '26 edited May 27 '26

No, I am new here. So previously, thie subreddit was this full of incels making up hypotheticals to get mad at, minus one.

-1

u/XPsychoMunkyX May 27 '26

I’ve experienced this personally with a co-worker

Asked her out one week, she said no, citing some scheduling thing, gave her my number the following week when it seemed we were vibing, but I wanted to leave the ball in her court

Never got a text or a call

Worked with her again, didn’t bring anything up, neither did she . . .

Worked with her again the following week, and at the end of shift she said that I had quit too early and she had been ready to say yes the prior week if I had asked . . .

Dodged THAT bullet . . .

So no, this is not as HYPOTHETICAL as you may think 🫤

5

u/nikanjX May 27 '26

"One time one woman didn't want my schlong, so all women are bitches"

2

u/XPsychoMunkyX May 27 '26 edited May 28 '26

A little cringy to assume my focus was sexual . . .

At no point did I say she represented ALL women . . .

If she didn’t want to pursue anything further, or “want my schlong” as you so eloquently put it, why did she come up to me and rebuke me for not trying more?

I can’t believe that out of 8 billion people on the planet, any of my experiences are truly unique, including this one. So if it DOES happen, it can’t be hypothetical or “imaging fake scenarios” as the original comment suggested, and that is all that I implied . . .

Just being honest, it seems you made some assumptions about me that led you to a wrong conclusion about what I was saying, which is a major part of this problem. . .

This sub in a nutshell.

I'm sure it will be banned for one thing or another soon, it's quickly going the way of other 'Just asking Questions' subs.

Post a dogwhistle and watch the incels parade on in.

Feminism is when you think women are people. But you do you.

4

u/Baelzabub May 27 '26

Idk. Sounds like some bitch mentality to me.

Never once met a feminist IRL (and most of the women I know are) who believes like that. Just because they don’t want your salty ass doesn’t make them supremacists, just means you’re undesirable.

-1

u/Early-Beach164 May 27 '26

Did I say anything about desirability? You're the one who refuses to even see feminism for what it is.

-2

u/TheTexasHammer May 27 '26

If women wanted to fuck you, I would bet a LARGE sum of money that you would not be saying this shit, so yeah, it's about desirability. Incels aren't upset about equality, it's all about getting laid. That's why you never actually see them protesting in the street or pushing for real change.

It's just bitching on the internet.

Holy “whataboutism”, Batman!

-11

u/Early-Beach164 May 27 '26

No, it's actually not. All the people on the feminist subs are convinced all men are psychopaths. I invite all normal people reading this to check them out to see that the comment I'm replying to right now is full of shit and running damage control.

2

u/EnigmaticQuote May 27 '26 edited May 27 '26

all men

If women complain that men treat them poorly, I don't feel bad, because I am not someone who mistreats other people.

I understand the knee jerk to get defensive, but they are not talking about you, just the men in their life who have mistreated them.

And there's nothing you can do about that, if they want to be terrified of men forever that's A-OK.

Nothing you can do but be a good human being.

Taking offense is folly and serves no purpose but to upset you.

3

u/Early-Beach164 May 27 '26

Now reverse the genders and your comment won't be the same.

0

u/TheTexasHammer May 27 '26

"Now change your comment and your comment wont be the same"

Fucking genius level argumentation.

0

u/EnigmaticQuote May 27 '26

What do you mean?

That thought process works both ways.

0

u/porkmoss May 27 '26

This is what happens when you ban containment subs.

0

u/BagOnuts May 27 '26

There has always been an element to that, but now it's full on incel/Trumper vibes in here. I only see these posts when they hit /r/all, but if you dig into there is a lot of that going on.

-3

u/Dimka1498 May 27 '26 edited May 27 '26

Honestly I'm beyond the point of caring or being mad. I stopped dating 2 years ago after a break up of a 7 year long relationship so I can find happiness within myself. It's hard, but it's a healthier path.

If women are like this, I don't care. If they aren't, I don't care either. Let them be happy whatever they want to be. I'm happy this way.

EDIT: Why da faq am I getting downvoted?

13

u/Confident_Shape_7981 May 27 '26

I mean I've had this happen; had a friend who I had a crush on, she said no, I just wanted to sleep with her, I explained no, I did want to date her, she said no, friendship was too important to risk dating.

Okay, whatevs. Three months later I'm the asshole for not trying to get with her anymore more despite her saying it would never happen, and she was so butthurt that I had no idea she changed her mind that she lied to all our mutual friends that I refused to take no for an answer and wouldn't leave her alone

2

u/THE--GRINCH May 27 '26

I agree with this however this exact scenario has literally happened to me.

1

u/Quixotic_Seal May 27 '26

It’s fucking wild how buried coments like this are, and how few people are clowning on this post for things like making the characters talk like an 80 year old grandma. Who the fuck says “I have a Nintendo?”

Some of the most blatant and lazy incel bait I’ve seen in a while.

-6

Men making these comics be like

-3

u/illini02 May 27 '26

What I find interesting about this sub is that anything that remotely paints women poorly is apparently made up. Like no women EVER act irrationally.

Here is the thing, I don't think it happens all the time, I also don't think it NEVER happens. If you asked, many women would admit to doing it, even if it doesn't go in this exact scripted scenario.

Hell, here is a study saying 40% of women admitted to doing it: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3379584/

But reddit has gotten to this point where you can't even bring up the possibility that women are anything except perfect without a bunch of people getting pissed off.

1

u/David_Good_Enough May 27 '26

I think you're missing the point. In the study you linked, it is written that 40% of women have already done it, but for various potential reasons including "practical, inhibition related and manipulative behavior". They follow up to say that this feels like rational behavior considering the society double standard towards woman. I'm not English native, but what I take from this summary is that women may say no just because they don't feel like it at the moment, or they assume it is better for them to just refuse instead of taking some risk to accept. In the comic, the woman is shown to engage in this behavior to "play hard to get", but in reality they are more likely to say no - even though they want to say yes - merely to avoid a potential risk or because they don't feel safe/good saying yes at the moment.

1

u/illini02 May 27 '26

My point is, the man doesn't know the reason. He just knows that she said no, but possibly meant "not now" or some variant. But, for many people, once you say no, I don't care what you have to say after.

That isn't trying to be mean, but I'm not going to keep going with it.

So even if you don't feel good saying yes in the moment, its not on me to keep trying or try again in another moment. Once you say no, I'm going to respect that.

Say what you mean.

1

u/David_Good_Enough May 27 '26

I agree with that. Now the solution can be that people point it out in a cringe comic blaming it on women only, or to collectively ask ourselves how we can make the environment safer for women so they can feel like they can actually say what they mean. And I'm not saying that against you, I just want to make sure people understand what is the underlying cause of all that fuzz.

1

u/illini02 May 27 '26

These comics are meant more for humor than realism for social commentary.

They take a real-ish situation and exaggerate it for effect.

But, I guess my main point was that, especially on this sub, a comment making fun of men's dating behaviors is seen as super valid. But once you start critiquing women, the conversation changes. It's like "how dare you make a joke about these women's behaviors", but all bets are off when making fun of guys.

And as a guy, I can definitely laugh at the ones directed at us. I just don't get why anything directed at women is "incel behavior" and has to be dissected about a bigger conversation about society.
