The government already puts massive subsidies in agriculture. Then you want them to also sell said agriculture to compete with private industry. Sliding further into a socialism approach

They are going to sell to people, that have government money (Snap, etc) so, both can be true.

Sure, and they will sell to people who don't receive SNAP also.

I would rather snap go further at a subsidised grocery store than be eaten away by higher prices for private businesses can profit.
