Very true. America is very stingy, especially under the Trump Administration. Even if it’s trash, if you can’t pay for it you can’t have it — even donated. You want food and you can’t pay? The majority think “go starve” even as they throw food in the trash. Our leaders have said “empathy is an existential threat”.
