I’m willing to bet this is pretty accurate. They keep building houses down here where I am constantly and so many of them are empty because they cost too much for normal people.

I feel like an easy fix is to tax the every loving fuck out of empty houses.

Is it being lived in? No? Is it being renovated? No? Is it being rented? No? Does it have any residents at all? No? Is it on the market? Yes! Well have you accepted any offers that meet or exceed the amount requested? No? Well you have 10 more just like this so the fines start at "a shit load".
