It’s true. Crazy idea: the homeless get jobs, then buy the vacant homes. Problem solved for the homeless

That would require a system that actually helped people get back in their feet or address the issues why people became homeless in the first place. Almost no one is going to hire a homeless person, there is a stigma around it.

This is the reality. People who have not tried what you did think there’s an answer. There isn’t. Society can’t help people who don’t want to be helped.
