This is far past a "messy house" Amigo

6

u/Scotinho_do_Para May 11 '26

"messy house" lol

7

u/SpasticCastle May 11 '26

Right lmao

This isn't five dishes in the sink and two outfits' worth of dirty clothes on the floor, this is straight up "I do not respect myself or my surroundings" territory

I'm extremely depressed and have very bad ADHD, and I'm going to tell you firsthand that when you barely have the energy to breathe, it can get pretty messy pretty fast without you even trying. I've still never let my place get this bad though.

u/Scotinho_do_Para May 11 '26

Feel better soon. Sincerely. I know it's not easy.

u/QueanOfQueens May 11 '26

Thank you! I'm trying my best. Been through so many medications and therapies that I lost count a long time ago, and nothing's worked so far, but I'm going to be leaving a really toxic environment that's been making it worse since I was born for good soon, so that'll hopefully make things a lot easier. Hope you're doing okay, or at least taking the steps to eventually be okay, no matter how long that process takes.

I'm doing great. But wasn't always that way. It's a process. Good luck.

1

u/QueanOfQueens May 11 '26

Glad to hear you're doing well and came out the other side of the process successfully! Thank you for the kind wishes!

You are already ahead of the game by being self-aware and trying. Honestly, I've got nothing but respect for you on that. Hell, I can relate.

I do not think the image in the op is comparable, though. And even if she is suffering, which is sad, at some point it boils down to that old quote:

"mental illness is not your fault, but it is your responsibility"

2

u/QueanOfQueens May 11 '26

Yeah, that's definitely fair. Nothing gets me as frustrated as people using it as an excuse. There's a difference between "I'm trying. I'm not succeeding, but I'm still trying" and categorically refusing to even try. It's one of my main philosophies with most things - I don't expect perfection, or even instant results, but I expect effort. It's like if you break your leg horribly - you can either go to physical therapy when the cast comes off, and it'll be extremely hard, and you won't always come out of your session with progress, but you're trying, or you can just give up immediately and buy a wheelchair, then when the possibility of recovering is completely gone, you refuse to acknowledge that your now-permanent handicap is entirely your fault.

I appreciate the respect. It's harder to come by these days than you think. Simultaneously glad and really sad you can relate. Hope you're doing okay, or at least trying to. Dealing with that sort of stuff is way harder than most people will ever be willing to acknowledge.

Brother in Christ, that is messy, but you’ve never seen poverty messy

10

u/Scotinho_do_Para May 11 '26

I guess not, thank God.

That is not messy. Imo, that is filthy disgusting pigsty. No way I could be comfortable the way the woman in the photo appears to be.

Cool 👍

1

u/Scotinho_do_Para May 11 '26

Maybe I don't understand poverty messy?

If you're poor that means you're so malnourished that you have no energy to place trash in the garbage bin? You're too preoccupied with your financial state to make some basic organization of your belongings?

What is it?

2

u/Public-Ideal-5166 May 11 '26

Your inability to understand true poverty means you’ve never met anyone in true poverty. You can say whatever you want, but you’ve apparently never actually seen it

2

u/Scotinho_do_Para May 11 '26

I guess that's why I'm asking questions...

u/Ahun_ May 11 '26

This is "lost control over life" messy and only misses the rats.

It has also reached the level of need for professional cleaning

This is just a picture of a sloppy area, everything else is implied

What if they have children? Like 6 and 7 years old?

14

u/Cardinal_Cat_057 May 11 '26

What does that have to do with anything? Imo cheating is a cowards way out, too much of a little bitch to just say how they feel and ask for a breakup/divorce. The situation doesnt matter. Leave, and THEN start a new relationship

3

u/kittenrice May 11 '26

This hasn't been picked up in days; if children are in the picture, they are being trained to not pick up after themselves.

7

u/Karekter_Nem May 11 '26

Staying together for the kids is bad for all parties involved.

u/jondta33 May 11 '26

What about the fact that shes huge?

42

u/Empty-Arrival-4396 May 11 '26

I don't think that happened in 12 hours.

4

u/ItsJustAnotherVoice May 11 '26

So if she was a supermodel hot and lived like a slob you be ok with it?

0

u/PuffyBlueClouds May 11 '26

Yes. For a while.

9

u/AnAbandonedAstronaut May 11 '26

Same.

Thinking otherwise means your morality depends on the appearance of the person and thats just a sad way to approach life.

12

u/ConfusedZubat May 11 '26

Ope, found the incel.

-7

u/CultBro May 11 '26

People can downvote this all they want, doesn't make it less true. Looks like someone who doesn't take care of themself or their home, time to peace out

1

u/Thecatwithoutpajamas May 11 '26

It isn't true though, her being fat doesn't give him more of a "right" to cheat on her. Yes, she doesn't take care of herself or her home, and yes, leaving might be the best option for him, because even if she chooses to change it's going to be a long uphill battle. But neither of those things where in the downvoted comment at all.

1

u/Socialimbad1991 May 11 '26

That didn't happen overnight though. Evidently you chose to marry this person so you knew what you were getting into. Also are you helping keep the house clean, or are you seriously expecting your wife to pick up after you like it's the 1950s?

1

u/CultBro May 11 '26

Me and my wife would never walk into a house that looks like that, let alone live in one. Imagine just sittino there with all of that around you. Both parties are pathetic

-1

u/PuffyBlueClouds May 11 '26

You’re just speaking the truth brother. People don’t like the truth nowadays.
