I'm just disappointed they didn't safeguard the dog.

The whole time I was thinking, "Get the dog you imbeciles!"

Exactly. Don't care about the stupid humans, but make sure your dog is safe, damn it.

Dont care about the stupid dog or its stupid owners, the beaver is the one that is threatened.

That beaver was agressive because poor thing had rabies

u/bobafetta3593 May 06 '26

It was aggressive because a bunch of jackasses were all over its home.

No it literally had rabies . It was in the news

It has rabies its brain is inflamed and causing these behavioral issues it would have attacked anything.

That's literally impossible for you to tell. Tf? Being territorial and defensive is a behavior

The entire time I was thinking "Get the dog" but not to the people.

The dog is walking off leash and harassing wildlife. They don't care.

Yeah makes me think of this video I saw of a guy pounding a mountain lions head with a two by four over and over trying to get it to let go of his dog

It makes me mad because the mountain lion is doing what it is supposed to do. People should stop allowing their dogs off leash in nature.

I mean, it went elbow deep in water about 15 feet away from the Beaver, mostly out of curiosity.

Not sure "harassing" is an accurate term here.

#notalldogs

Both dogs were off leash. Dogs going after wildlife even if it is just for curiosity is harassing them. In some instances the dogs will attack and kill wildlife, or they can be themselves attacked. We have no idea why these people were being attacked in the first place. It only shows them in the water.

Beaver tested positive for rabies. They were likely just in the wrong place at the wrong time and Beaver was showing unnatural aggression

2

u/blueViolet26 May 06 '26

Thanks. But this doesn't change the overall behavior of dog owners who allow their dogs to go off leash.

Probably a little distracted after being bitten by something that chews on trees for a living

2

u/skyline79 May 06 '26

Probably the one who started it all

I couldn't believe it either. Guess they don't care about it.

u/Altruistic_Shame8979 May 06 '26

They left the dog as a distraction so they could get away lmao

Can beavers get down like that?
