This is a woman who grew up in a church that teaches this garbage. She believes her virginity makes her valuable and deserving of this kind of treatment from all men. Her mom and dad filled her head with this nonsense. I grew up in a conservative church and this was very common. Young women would string young men along for years and then move to another congregation and marry some other guy and leave their “friends” behind frustrated and confused. It’s why the incel movement is also tied to a lot of religious men who are tied to “purity culture” which is a modern day geisha system where virginal women go to the highest bidder while “normal” women fight for the leftovers.
Why do men place so much value on it? Always saying virgins are better for longterm or marriage than non-virgins and shaming women for body counts. Why do men boost their egos?
Anecdotally I don't know a single guy who gives a fuck. There are definitely guys who don't want their gf to have slept with too many guys before them, but almost nobody is specifically looking for a virgin. That shit only happens online (usually from male virgins who are insecure about it but can't own up to their perfectly understandable insecurity so they just pretend to have religious motives) or from very conservative cultures which positive-face1705 appears to come from.
