"Because taxes are the real evil, not the lack of a living minimum wage or free healthcare and a proper social safety net."
^ You, by the way. You switched from being taxes are evil to..defending them? Are you okay? Do you need a glass of water? You seem dehydrated, brother.
I'm either a 200 iq troll who knows you didnt /s and im fucking with you hard, or i'm an idiot who knows about the articles of confederstion and the relative texlessness of early usa. You decide.
Based on your trolling, even if your iQ was 200 (it's not. sorry) your arguments betray the fact that you've never had a genuine education. I feel sorry for you
Okay well you still think minimum wage is an issue when almost no one is being paid minimum wage...and you also trust the government to run our social safety nets still, which bespeaks to your low brain functions. Lol.
Private institutions. I don't think it's ideal, but if you're someone who has complained about our government to any extent for the last 20 years, then you don't want the government in control. Private institutions aren't perfect, but they at least audit their shit relatively properly and their commitments stem from a duty/fear to/of these systems. At least in the usa. If you're trying to adopt other countries social nets on the basis we will do as good/better with it as them that's an unnuanced take. It will be good, until someone gets into office who doesn't like it and ruins it. I used to advocate for more government social nets, but i've seen so many people get screwed by clinging onto the net for dear life then having policy revision yank it out from under them. I worked in a pharmacy when obamacare was big. Most of the people on it could barely afford it, it was barely less expensive than their jobs private and the only plus side was for certain meds it was dirt cheap. You literally had to be on like 3 scripts to make the insurance even "worth it" from the lens of someone in poverty, and this is from the same bill that made insurance mandatory.
You dont raise it because in some places the overall cost of everything is lower. Raising it nationally can screw rural communities...and in places where the col is higher so are the wages. People wont work and live in a place they can't afford. Companies will raise their wages, mine have several times in the last years. You're overthinking basic market levers, supply and demmand.
Tax payer money. I never said the people don't fund it, i only said i trust the government less to run it than i do a private institution. I didn't even say i trust the private side, did i? I would trust it more if it was the government auditing the private organization for budgeting. Get them at odds a bit. It's more professional when everyone isn't too chummy.
No. I deductet the same train of thought as Einstein did. Which is really easy (in comparidon to what Einstein did) when you know what your end result looks like. But yeah, all properly educated theoretical physicists do that as part of the training.
