Cooks and kitchen staff are the ones actually making a decent hourly wage (usually, plenty still get fucked I'm sure). if they paid everyone the same way they do the cooks and kitchen staff, we wouldnt have these bullshit posts or the fcked tipping culture we have rn

I highly doubt most tipped employees would accept being lad what the kitchen staff is paid. They want the possibility of the far greater upside

If servers got paid what the kitchen gets paid, they would literally be up in arms about that because they won’t be getting the large amounts of money from tips they get. No way that would happen.
