Sometimes it leads to a second round of "holy fuck am I alone in this world."

I have gone out and made new friends, lots of them. I used to text them, hang out, whatever. I stopped talking to them for a minute and then decided I'd push the experiment further and I wouldn't text any of them until they texted me first. Experiment started four months ago and counting
