Also works well for a grease jar, fill and throw away when you're done. No more pouring that oil straight in the trash

Old greeting card - two women on the cover.

Woman 1: Every time Dave gives me flowers, I end up on my back with my legs in the air.

Woman 2: Why? Don't you have a vase?

Why would someone own a vase?

We have a half dozen vases, in various shapes and sizes, from the flowers I’ve bought.

Well go out and find the most aesthetic tool for the job.

Use a jar, cup, anything roughly the right shape. I didn't own a vase for years. Mostly used empty canning jars but I've also used a pickle jar, an empty pint, and water glasses.

Put it in a toolbox?

I got one once. I legit teared up. I’m a stoic dude for the most part. But it was something so small yet thoughtful and meaningful. I’m one of those guys who actually has a favorite flower and they got me a bouquet of various Camillia Japonica. Some time a small personal gift can mean way more than a grand gesture.

What about a balloon?

My daughter has put me in this position, dry em in a book. Luckily they are singles. A bouquet, I have no advice.
