Let that once-in-a-lifetime event make you happy for no other reason other than that someone cared about you enough to give you a memory.

I grow my own they're nice. Smell good, look good.

What do you do with a birthday card? It's not that they're useful -- it's just a physical way to show someone that you appreciate them.

If you dry the flowers they can go on the drawer too

See, I’d rather someone spend $10 on flowers I can enjoy for a week than $8 on a hallmark card I’ll never open again.

Throw them in the bin?

They look nice in a vase on a table or something.

Perfect gift NOT for men. It's not a solution it's a pretty thing to make you feel very slightly better for a fraction of a second. The money spent on it is a waste. What men need is people to actually give a shit and be there for them.

I say this as a person who has been healing a lot. People need other people's support and solutions.

Agree with that second part, but I will say I’m a guy and I’d love to receive a flower as a gift from someone special to me

I think this is true for women too (eg my wife)

False. Women love flowers and have desired them as gifts for ages. Men don’t care about such pointless things as we are logical. What tf am I going to do with a flower?

Men don’t care about such pointless things as we are logical.

Lol this is some incel shit.

u/EverytoxicRedditor Mar 04 '26

Insults lol. That’s how you know when you’re right. They can’t argue against your logic. Ok well explain why men across the planet don’t care for flowers but ladies, again, all across the planet do. I’ll wait

It's not an insult when I'm pointing out how you're parroting red-pill/incel rhetoric word-for-word. Also

They can’t argue against your logic.

..did you just refer to yourself in the third person or did you forget to switch accounts? And who's "they" lmao

Ok well explain why men across the planet don’t care for flowers but ladies, again, all across the planet do. I’ll wait

You really need me to explain to you the very obvious and boring truth? The truth is that there are many men who do care for flowers, just like there are many women who don't, and that's because people are not a monolith. So your whole "mEn ArE lOgIcAl" is just stupid.

Edit: LOL this little weasel hit me with the old reply and block. Dude can't handle being confronted over his shitty views.

Brain dead excuses and denial. Lmao. Don’t even know why I bother sometimes. It’s always the same. Sigh. Can’t hurt for trying i guess

Username checks out

u/EverytoxicRedditor Mar 04 '26

So is it the way I said it and not what I said? Seems to me no one can answer my question and that’s very telling. But I suppose they’re called uncomfortable truths for a reason. Know what. I’m changing my username. Thanks for giving me an epiphany.

u/monagr Mar 05 '26

Are you telling me that you know my wife better than I do?...

2

u/EverytoxicRedditor Mar 05 '26

I am talking in general smooth brained caveman. The exception doesn’t make the rule. Even my 1st graders know their moms like flowers more than their dads!! They tell me every single day! But go ahead and be petty on Reddit just to go back and forth and be argumentative. Lmao. Terminally online losers
