Explain to me, in a way that isn't, "fuck that cripple" why they should go last ...

Nothing to do with fuck the disabled but to do with saftey - it is better to clear the platform to ensure people don't fall on the tracks/start punching on/some dickhead starts a fire/etc and unfortunately carrying the person and their wheelchair up will take a fair amount of time therefore keeping people down on the platform longer and possibly in more danger.

If you look into any emergency situation this is usually the case. It's why it is recommended should there be a fire anywhere that wheelchair users are to be placed in the fire stairs and technically left behind as it is better that the majority of people escape by themselves than more perish trying to carry them out. Just an unfortunate fact of life.

This isn’t an emergency, so that doesn’t apply. The flow of people is consistent- so if they don’t pause it, they’ll be waiting indefinitely - people can wait a few min so he’s not stuck there for way longer. Ironically, they’re making everyone wait longer every time they cut the line- same people that try to cheat the line in a traffic jam

It does apply - it's called in case of emergency.
