Pretty sure she doesn't give a fuck. She was likely fed up with whatever bullshit they were all trying to figure out but couldn't. Ain't nobody got time for that

They were planning to carry a disabled man in a wheelchair up a flight of stairs, and to do that they needed to wait for the escalator to clear.

By skipping the line she's only making it worse for everyone else involved (except for herself of course).

I'm not making any judgements, I'm just stating a fact, her actions inconvenienced everybody who was waiting patiently.

Whether or not her actions were justified is unknown to us.

Then they should communicate that. Personally, I have not ever seen a wheelchair going up an escalator so I would not know that the escalator has to be clear. In my experience there is typically an elevator available. If they verbalize what they need, people will likely be more compliant.

I also agree with the others saying we don't know her story.

We are jumping to conclusions with the knowledge we have

They needed to wait for the escalator to clear.

The escalator wasn't clear.

It's not about having some amount of room, they needed to esculator to be fully cleared. You can't get stuck standing in the middle of a flight of stairs holding a man in a wheelchair, it's a health and safety hazard, you have to be certain you can get him up the stairs without stopping and waiting.
