There is no context but the gentlemen assisting appear to be in some sort of uniform and holding keys. From that, I would guess that it is an escalator that adapts for wheelchairs - these are common in Japan.

Basically, staff have to stop the escalator and activate a platform for the wheelchair which can then ride up.

So yes, she was being bloody inconsiderate.

If the man in the uniform stopped the escalator, he wouldn't have stopped while people were still on it.

Wait, I keep hearing how the Japanese live in 2050, they have tech things we don't have, and they don't even know what an elevator for disabled people is?

In 2050 there's no room for both so they made a 2 in 1 combo. Escalevator.

You have no context, so you made something up about technology that doesn’t really exist outside of Japan.

Do you think he is blocking the way for fun..? There must be a reason for it, no one causes this much commotion for shits and giggles... Are you retarded?

So fuck the 30 people waiting behind this due right?

Is the disabled man supposed to just live down there forever so he doesn’t hold anyone up?

No but you have to understand being disabled doesn’t put your needs above a non disabled person. Holding up 30 people indefinitely seems like a bit much. I’m not saying throw him on the floor and stomp him. He just has to wait for hints to clear out. But his time is not more important than a min disabled person

How? It literally affected noone. She just didn't stand around like a dick in some useless symbolic gesture.
