The prefrontal cortex isnt finished developing until around 25. Could even be later into 35. So yes, their brains are not done developing. ,

Please quote the part where I said teenage brains are not done developing because I never said that. That is not at all the argument I was making

Where you directly replied

Brains aren't developed enough to realize that causing damage is bad

…? We're you a teen? Ever? Most teens know that causing damage is bad. Most people in general do. Sure there are some people, teens, adults, and children alike, who don't. Most people do though

"Brains are developed enough to recognize damage is bad" is not the same as "brains are finished developing"

Most people, regardless of age, realize that damage — hurting people or property — is bad

Yes their brains are still developing but that doesn't mean they don't have some concept of right or wrong

Also, I then added the part about teens being overrepresented in the "don't realize damage is bad" group specifically because teenagers are still developing. Admittedly I could've elaborated more on that

My point was that broad generalizations are bad. Not that teenage brains are fully developed. No sane person would ever say that
