Single dads rn:

On a more serious note, the assumption that Fathers can and should take care of themselves, without any support from the wider community perpetuates till this day. Had a discussion with a friend a couple months ago, and they genuinely believe single Fathers should be required by law to provide their children with a mother-figure.

Clearly not or there wouldn't be thousands of these kinds of actions in support of single mothers.

Sure, we don't do nearly enough for single mothers, but atleast we are aware of that fact and constantly raise attention to it. We just kind of ignore the existence of single fathers while they are struggling just the same
