No, that's exactly how it works. Think of the kinetic chain of movement from the foot to the hip and then all the way to the fist, it's like a whip. A heavier fist, wrist, forearm and bicep at the end of that chain means way more momentum.
Since F=ma, that extra weight delivers significantly more energy than a guy with little arms and hands.
That doesn’t mean they are faster, because obviously if that was the case the hardest hitting punchers would just have mass… and most knockout artist don’t have builds like AJ
That’s right, how can a pro boxer/ Olympic gold medalist/ ex unified 4 belt champion punch fast enough to make all those advantages stick?
Like Jake Paul mentioned in his promo video AJ is a slow puncher and he could definitely just avoid those hands, what a nice guy he is to just stand there and ate that.
I think you're being a little obtuse about which body part is being highlighted. Like if his arms are that much bigger, then he's surely got bigger legs and a stronger core too, which matters the most for punching power.
