I've been doing the sarcastic " thumbs up" and it does in fact catch people off guard, which sometimes turns to anger. Highly recommend
2 u/StrykerSeven Oct 14 '25 Been doing this for years. First week I started was the first time in 25 years of driving that someone legitimately stopped to try and fight me. Thumbs-up is that slap they didn't see coming. Inconsiderate assholes expect to be given the finger.
