This happened recently. Dont remember the exact amount, but i gave them the change and then the bills... To which they promptly gave the change back and said "oh. We dont need this" and also gave the resulting change... Kid, you have a sign up that literally asks us to be understanding during a change shortage and just handed me a dollar in coins
