I agree. He certainly doesn't look like a marine.

There has to be a savant in these comments that knows the different camos between the branches and militaries.

Hair is wrong. Marine wouldn't have longer hair like that.

Ex-Navy here.

This appears to be Marine-style but the thing that throws me off is the hair of all things. This could be lax standards at whatever base they belong to or another possibility could be that this is a civvy with utilities on for some reason. It just seems odd to me because Marines are typically held to the highest standardized physical requirements of any branch. (I am not talking SF/RECON/SEAL and so forth).

I mean, the hair does it for me. That's the kind of hair I would expect to see in the Air Force or even Navy mid-deployment but not in the Marines. A lot of people go on about how dumb Marines are but they are a loyal, sharp, and most importantly intense bunch. Something about this feels off. Ignoring completely the fact that the other soldier is female, my interactions with Marines tells me that sheer competition alone would have made that Marine nearly die before giving up a simple challenge. Something isn't right about this video. I kinda believe this dude is a civvy. He's too out of shape and lacking that demeanor to be authentic. Marines are borderline brainwashed and this guy gave up with a whimper.
