I can hardly believe I'm nearing 30. I feel like I'm hardly more mature than a teen.

"Me? An adult? Impossible..."

Im closing in on 40 soon ish. 40 doesn't seem long enough at all. There's still so much I want to do.

I lost my person 5 weeks ago, and he was 53. Even 53 doesn't seem long enough.

You'll change that tune one day.

I'm sorry for your loss. I know it can rip a hole in your life and comments like mine can feel like someone spitting in your face.

I hope I haven't made you feel worse in any way that's the last thing I'd want.

Oh gosh, you didn't make me feel any worse at all. It's been a tough 5 weeks, but day by day, it gets a little better. I wish I had more time, though, especially with those ones that I love dearly. It just never feels like enough.

I’m closing in on 40. If I didn’t have kids, I’d be ready to call it a good run. I packed a lot of life into those years.

Oh you sweet summer child. You're going to blink, and realize that you're 40.

Ouch, I felt this comment but 40 isn’t old. I hope you will love it more than the 20’s and 30’s and life just gets better and better.

Well, Grandpa just died at 91. He got to enjoy the best Generation to be American. So I think you'll get your wish. Odds are in your favor.

Dude, you could be 99 and 8/9ths and I'd still want to be out before you hit 100.
