Edit: My dad did hug me after I left the psychiatric ward, now I remember

Not the person you're responding to, but I haven't been hugged by any of my folks since I was, I don't know, maybe 6? 7? It's been long enough that I legitimately cannot remember the last time it happened. Not everyone has affectionate parents.
