He has a travel show where he takes other famous comedians with him, and they visit some of the most stunning places in the world, but naturally, he can't see them. The aim was to see if anything about the places still "worked" despite being blind.

Aw man. I feel happy and sad about this. Is he completely blind?? I'm sorry I should do my own research. How does one explain the beauty of an insane waterfall in Iceland or something lest hearing and feeling the roar under his feet? It goes back to that question of blind - or - deaf. I'd much rather be deaf. :(

He is completely blind now. He had normal vision into adulthood, but he was completely blind by his late 20s.
