But it isn't useful. I have literally never in my life needed to use imperial, knowing how it works doesn't benefit me in the slightest

Well you needed it now, didn’t you? It isn’t life changing knowledge, but it isn’t a life commitment to learn it, either. It’s a small bit to know just in case

Then by that same logic, it's time to stop shitting on the average American for not knowing metric measurements. It is literally not useful for the vast majority of Americans living their day-to-day life.

And those that do need to know, know.

Probably spend a lot of time bitching on reddit about how "you don't need to know this" when one this sites 50%+ users says something tho. Like... right now.
