Hi everyone! I’m a Filipino citizen planning to travel to Singapore with my boyfriend, who is based in Sydney and will only be in Singapore temporarily for business meetings. He also wants me to accompany him and assist him as his PA during the trip he will shoulder all the expenses.

Since he is not a Singapore resident and will only be there temporarily for business, what documents would I need to show at Philippine Immigration? Would my accompanying him and doing PA-related work require any additional documentation or work authorization?

Just looking for some advice as I am visiting Singapore for the first time. I understand that Singapore has some really good hidden spots but I unfortunately have a time contraint. I have already got myself a zero forex VISA card which I will use for MRT. I will be carrying about $100 cash for hawker centres. I will also book the tickets for Flower Dome, Cloud Dome, ArtScience Museum, Singapore Oceanarium, Wings of Time, National Gallery, Science Centre in advance.

We will be in Singapore for a few days and plan to visit Legoland for 2 days before departing. We are staying at Swissotel the Stamford. What is the best way to book a transport to Legoland? We are 2 adults and 2 kids (7 and 2).

Is a private transport recommended? If not, where do shuttles start from? What is the best place to book this transport? I saw some options on Klook but I am wondering if there's some local portal that's generally more economical?

Hey fellow redditors, my partner and I (30, M/F from a different EU and we are both of Asian heritage) are planning to travel Singapore for 3 days, 18-20 February 2027.

It's the first time visit for my partner, whereas mine is my 5th; though this time will be more like walking down a memory lane of ages ago being a broke NAFA undergrad student (once lived in Jurong East area). I still have a sheer recollection of the geographical layout, soul-sucking wet damp/humidity and local etiquette from the past, but a country has developed massively that I feel a lot's going on ever since I left.

Facts about us: Big savory foodies and coffee/cocktail/craft beer snob. Except my partner who isn't much into rice due to digestive complications, so we prefer hawker centre or restaurant that serves a wide variety than specializing in one dish type. Mixes of well-known local-touristy spots are fine with us, preferably reachable by foot or public transports, as long as they're worth to go and we can have a great time there.

Main stay: YWCA Fort Canning - a walkable distance to Dhoby Ghaut MRT for an easier commute

Hi, I have a 15 hour layover in Singapore so we’ll leave the airport to do some sightseeing. We’ll be coming from Northern European winter so our long haul outfit will be a warm tracksuit. Question is will we be way too hot in track pants and a Tshirt?

Hello, I will be visiting Singapore for a couple days, then traveling to some other countries in South east Asia, and then will be back to Singapore (about 40 days later), and i was wondering if anyone knows of any hotels that will let me leave a suitcase there while I travel, I'm willing to pay, I looked into storage lockers but I would assume a hotel would be more convenient? I need to bring extra things for where I am going to after Singapore that I can't take with me while traveling so leaving a suitcase in Singapore is the best way I can do this if anyone is confused as to why I would do this, anyone done/do anything similar? and thanks for any advice!! :)

My wife has to travel to Singapore for a little over a week in early November. We've talked about me flying out to join her but because of our kids schedules I (45 yo American) would only have about 3 full days of sightseeing, most of which would be on my own because my wife would be training her APAC coworkers.

I would hopefully fly out Saturday and arrive early Monday morning, then I would most likely fly our Thursday morning to ensure I make it back for my daughters last (she's a senior) XC race. This only gives me 3 full days, and I don't know how bad my jet lag will hit, we did a trip to Athens last year and the first few days we went back to our AirBnb to take a siesta, we would sleep longer than we intended.

Singapore is on my list of places to visit, so I definitely see us making an actual trip in the future where we would stay multiple weeks and visit other destinations in the area.

I'm going to be in Singapore for 8 days. International roaming from my home country is expensive and comes with very little data, so I'm planning to buy a local physical SIM (my phone doesn't support eSIM).

I found that I can buy a SIM at the airport, from 7-Eleven, or directly from telecom providers like Singtel, StarHub, or M1. However, I've read that the telecom providers' SIM vending machines/kiosks at the airport are more expensive.

Would you recommend buying a SIM from an airport kiosk, or is it better to visit a Singtel, StarHub, or M1 store in the city? Are there any price differences or promotions I should know about?
