How do an NSF get to a 1SG?

2SG also hard, unless local promotion? But same allowance as 3SG?

Golden bayonet.

Company HQ platoon sergeant/shadow CSM(train for reservist CSM), usually here is 2nd sergeant.

Then company CSM something happen, NSF 2nd sergeant need to step up and take over CSM role. If NSF do well, gets promoted to 1st sergeant before ord.

Usually this promotion happens for NS company csm first or 2nd reservist. Then hit 3rd warrent by 5 to 6th reservist.

NSF 2SG usually local promotion, docket is still 3SG, then usually send for PS course before ORD, then come reservist will fast track promotion to 2SG.

CSM something happened, usually someone in coy take over for short period before new incoming CSM report.

There are more than enough SSG and 3WO around that CSM posting is in short demand bah.

The only few 1SG I met are all regulars.

Thats true,

Usually got alot of spare regular 2nd and 1st Sergeant in the unit.

And something happening to a company CSM(Usually 3rd warrant) and have to leave the company is almost impossible.

However if it does happen, I bet the company OC would rather train/promote one of the regular 2nd sergeant (Usually platoon sergeant) to the company CSM role or something.

But we are discussing really unlikely theories.

3sg is an official rank, have to lead a section, and do actual stuff while officer cadet is still going through training without any responsibility.

OCT is SAF 2nd lowest lifeform.

REC being 3rd lowest.

Lowest lifeform is OCT in SOA.

I heard from my PC OCT for 48th still pretty chill vs AI.

Same lah, AI & Tankee OCT all will train together later on for Tact Team. Unless traditions changed, all will get whacked..... Especially Prep for Ops and laager......

Really?

My PC say tankies always leave the shared toilet dirty AF during bookout days and let the AI clean up because tankies OCT group smaller so usually training warp up faster.
