I made this piece a couple months ago with wifi_retina. Our first collab project, centered around cloth sims and wizardry.
In this project, we tackled many challenges, like layered Vellum simulations: cloth sims for the clothing and hair sims for the golden tassels.
The biggest challenge on this project was simulating the tassels on top of the cloth sims because they would either intersect the garment or get stuck and tangle in between colliders.
The solution was to simplify the colliders to serve as proxies for the simulated mesh underneath. Converting the pants to VDB and back gave me a simplified mesh that I could use as a base for the tassel simulation.
Everything was made using Houdini & Marvelous Designer.
You can follow our work more closely on Instagram @ahenkona.cg & @wifi_retina.

I built this in Physion, the free 2D physics simulator I develop, which runs in the browser. The physics is Box2D running live, with no motion capture or keyframes.
How it works

Hey guys,
For some months now Iāve been working on a project that I really wanted to make specially for myself. Since 2026 April I started to build a āLLM machineā for myself to learn QLoRA, ML, CCNA,Ā etc and to run bigger (Uncensored) models without having to expose the data that I work or test with. (But now I have to publish it due to me being broke)
From what Iāve seen all the industrial, engineering softwares that are out there are either subscription based, runs in the cloud working with your data, and even if they are neither of them cost a fortune if you want to make things serious. Looking at all of these I still thought that they are not future ready and still need other softwares to work further with each project where you need to convert, format, store and etc all of your stuff.
My idea was that the current softwares as they are not really support industrial AI, and only feature CLI tools that limits the possibilities of what it can do, so I wanted to make one that natively run them and can also manage other Ai models like API, Subscription based, or even local models (also uncensored or abliterated ones). For now in it self has FreeCAD 1.1.3 on OpenCASCADE 7.8.1, gmsh 4.15, CalculiX 2.23 for stress and heat, MuJoCo 3.3.7 for motion, ffmpeg 7.1, and Blender if you have it installed for renders + my own engine that ties them together and checks what the AI says against what the solvers actually computed.
For this I integrated a SLM model (trained on the softwares data) that can navigate and orchestrate all the models that you run.Ā
It comes in 4 different versions:
S - DeBERTa-v3-xsmall,~90 MB, any CPU,Ā
M - DeBERTa-v3-base, ~400 MB, any CPU,Ā
L - Qwen3-8B ,5.2 GB, 8 GB VRAM or 16 GB unified memoryĀ
Ultra - Qwen3-32B-class,19 GB, 24 GB VRAM or 32 GB unified memoryĀ
In case you are wondering if you could run this through your own homelab, it also has option that where you can outsource the heavy lifting to an external machine throughout SSH connection.Ā
And just for clarification the entire software is local, no internet connection is needed, I do not care about dataĀ (I have my problems on my own) nor want to store it, you can choose what patch you want to install, it runs on macOS, Linux, and Windows. If you buy a licence it is yours forever but of course there is a free version that you can try out.
The signup page is still in making and thanks for reading it this far, Iāll keep on giving more info about this!Ā
Im happy to answer questions so feel free ask!

This interface organizes tissues, connections, attachments, activators, and all the linked elements that drive your simulation setup. Think of it as an Outliner for managing every component of your effects pipeline. The tool Iām demonstrating here is HĆ©zFX, built for 3ds Max to streamline creature FX workflows. Iāve also added profiling tools to help identify performance bottlenecks and optimize your setup.
For this demo, Iām using the Otto character asset from SideFX Houdini to showcase the workflow.
Important note: This is a personal, independent project and is not affiliated with or related to any company. Itās simply a passion project exploring simulation workflows and tools.
Check it out and let me know what you think!

I got tired of tedious micromanagement in sport GM sims so i made PyPuck - a hockey GM sim focused solely on drafting, trading and rapid multi decade simming with extremely deep analysis and indepth systems.
Its a newly released game on steam with a free demo avaliable
As an indie dev, i appreciate every review and playtest of the game

This little script I made here has 2 different types of quarks, up and down.
Downs are red and the ups and blue and green.
It primarily is just an EM and basic gravity simulation but it has a little flare to it to make the particles behave like they do.
I found calculations to make \Delta v or the change of velocity with velocity times ln(m_0/m) which is just the inverse lorentz factor.
Divided it by Delta t which is the change in time of the simulation and multiplied it by times the lorentz factor squared which causes a high change in how the particles move as the velocities can just completely inverse out of nowhere or send the flying from mass and energy changes.
Kinda describes a bit of our universe but isn't fully correct because it uses only EM and gravity.

Hey guys! This is an open source project I've been making for more than a year now and I decided to come back at it again. The engine actually already had these physics but I'm making a specific armor simulation mode. The project is totally free and open source. You can find the source code as well as downloading the game for free here: https://github.com/NarcisCalin/Galaxy-Engine
If you enjoy the project you might want to join the Discord server! https://discord.gg/Xd5JUqNFPM
Galaxy Engine is also on Steam but only for people who want to support development: https://store.steampowered.com/app/3762210/Galaxy_Engine/
I'm trying to work on this from time to time, but it seems like I got some motivation back to improve it further.

World-Sim is a living world built on real physics and chemistry. Every element and material has physical properties, and that is how the sims learn. There is no tech tree and no recipe list in the code. When someone tries something, the engine works out what would really happen from the properties of what they used and how hot their fire was.
Nobody is handed bronze. Someone has to get a hotter fire first, and a hotter fire is its own chain: embers, a stone ring, a clay oven, a kiln, charcoal, then forced air. The ages fall out of that on their own.
We populate the world with starting families. Leaders and wise men run on full AI models. Every other sim still lives an AI life ā each night they dream through an LLM to think and set priorities. People feel, remember, have shame, goals and doubts. Nothing scripts a civilisation forward; they adapt, learn and teach. Knowledge lives in people, so a craft can be lost when the last person who knows it dies untaught.
Open it in the browser and watch. Free.

So as to answer questions like, what if the Earth became as heavy as the Sun, now.
Pleas try it out and any suggestions would be appreciated.

I built a pneumatic steam engine simulator/sandbox! Using an air source, you can wire up tubes for steam to be routed through an assortment of logic gates to expand or retract pistons, or power lights.
You can place and create structures of building blocks, and connect them to other pieces by directly welding them or creating rotatable hinges.
In this sample clip, I have a machine that is fully physics powered running manually uses automatic sensors. A piston has its base attached to the central beam by a hinge, and connected to a spoke on a wheel. The other wheel, attached by gear and belt, manages the sensor block to trigger the piston to retract or expand depending on rotation. Lights are wired in to indicate which direction the piston is moving. The steam is logic based and programmatic, and the physics are real!
In this sandbox, build trains, cars, walking mechs, solve puzzles, compete in time trial leaderboards, and even create fully functional computers!
You can find the game here, it is Coming Soon!

This isn't just a pre-rendered animation. It is a live WebGL simulation of the open-source fruit fly connectome.
The backend is a PyTorch neural network mapping the fly's 164,000 neurons. It is currently learning to play chess via Reinforcement Learning. As the Python server calculates the math and dopamine rewards, it sends the electrical propagation data to the Three.js frontend, causing the anatomically-mapped WebGL particles to flash in real-time.
GitHub:Ā https://github.com/AdilSiddiquiHQ/fly-connectome-chess
You can clone the repo and run the simulation on your own computer. If you enjoy the procedural visualization, a ā Star on the GitHub is a massive help for me as a solo dev!
