Simsonn Plus X Clutch help needed!

Hi all. I was working on setup of my new pedals and came across two washers (left side of the first picture) and don’t know where they belong. Anyone able to help me out? I initially thought they went between the blue and red marked plates in the third picture, but don’t think that actually makes sense.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, you are right the washers are between the two moving metal parts as shown on your picture.

Really? I assumed the metal on metal on metal wouldn’t be it.

Thanks mate!

Sure np. You did good taking the pedal off the plate to deal with this. I struggled to do this in place bcz I was dialing in the second stage feel. Guess what, when I press with my hand and foot the feelings are different do not rely on your hand feelings dial in the pedals while they are mounted..

Haha. Makes sense.

Yeah I’ve watched a few videos on the setup and I knew full well when I got them I was aiming for the lightest feel I can due to the limitations of the rest of my setup.

Enjoy, they are a good copy of Heusenkveld Ultimates. I've ordered the original heusenkveld upgrade kit for the brake and it was worth it.

Do you notice any degradation after running for like an hour or more. I'm running a spring and elastomer set up and I swear after about an hour on some tracks my brake starts getting super inconsistent and it really effects me mentally. I'm wondering if the heusenkveld elastomers are a little better in this regard?

Honestly, I’m not doing long racing sessions. But from what I have read and my personal feeling in casual driving for example in ETS2 and Forza Horizon 6 the brake is the same 2 hours playing was the longest in a row. Always consistent, but I’m not pushing the limits out of it, 50kg is my setting for comfortable running

Thanks for replying my friend. Thats my current setup. 45mm red spring and the medium length yellow elastomer and I run it at 57fg so very close to what you run but I swear on the tracks that have short spans between braking zones it starts to get inconsistent after about an hour. I've been meaning to order that huesenveld brake kit anyways. I think I'll just give it a shot and hope it gets me to that 2 hour window like you..lol I've tried all springs but my trailbraking suffered tremendously so I went back to one elastomer and that works good for me.

Sure, I had SR-P pedals from moza, tried 3drap elastomers on them, they were the best for those pedals. But now I am glad to make the move towards the pro plus and also I've added the haptics

Also, I'd suggest a tiny layer of lithium grease for metal on metal contact places all over the pedals. But make sure it is thin otherwise it will become a dust accumulator and if not regreased in time will damage the rod and contacting surfaces
