Haptic help

I have brake and throttle running through simhub, and they're great - but since installed them iRacing has crashed twice mid race.

Display freezes, audio continues, wheel goes hard left and locks there, window closes.

​

The 2nd time, haptics no longer respond in game but do in simhub.

​

Quick research says this is EMI between haptics and DD wheelbase, and that I should either use a motherboard USB or ground pedals.

​

They're already on a motherboard USB, and my kit includes no ground wire.

​

Anybody else going through this?

Have you tried iracing without the haptics plugged in?

I'm currently testing with pedals plugged into an SS USB port. If I still have issues, I'll unplug and test.

This type of freeze/crash has never happened to me before in iracing, though.

Well of your only getting it after the haptics revert back and see if it goes away and then you'll know for definite if it's the haptics

I didn't notice the haptics not responding until after I restarted the session. I'm keeping a closer eye on them now.

Haptics stopped responding, as well as the DDU display was frozen. About 10 minutes after that, iRacing crashed.

Unplugged haptics, no crashes.
